  2. Provide students a platform for developing and socializing independent business (entrepreneurship). 
  3. Establish sustainable cooperative relationships with alumni through alumni tracking studies (Tracer Study) 

DESCRIPTION

In line with the institutional transformation of Undiksha into a university with a legal entity, namely the Financial Management of the Public Service Agency (PK BLU) in 2015. Through the implementation of PK BLU, various changes and institutional arrangements were made that led to autonomy, accountability, and transparency toward Good University Governance. The basis for the change refers to the Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, number: 505/KMK.05/2015, concerning the Designation of Undiksha at the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia as a government agency that implements the Financial Management of Public Service Agencies and Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia number 14 of 2016, concerning Organization and Work Procedures. Undiksha. 

One of the implementations of the two provisions above is the appointment of the personnel of the Technical Implementation Unit for Career Development and Student Entrepreneurship (UPT PKKM) through the Rector’s Decree No. 588/UN48/KP/2016, dated June 1, 2016. This unit was established as a center for career development and student entrepreneurship in producing independent, innovative, creative graduates who compete in the national/global job market and create job opportunities based on Tri Hita Karana. 

To carry out its duties, UPT PKKM is equipped with divisions, namely: 

  1. Career Development Division
  2. Student Entrepreneurship Division
  3. Tracer Study Division

MAIN TASKS

The main tasks of UPT PKKM are carrying out career development, student entrepreneurship, and alumni tracing (Tracer study), as well as coordinating job search activities for new graduates, developing academic community activities in collaboration with stakeholders (society and the business world) to integrate educational activities with the world of work. 

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the establishment of UPT PKKM are: 

  1. Developing students’ soft skills to prepare for the world of work. 
  2. Preparing career competencies in the world of work-integrated with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. 
  3. Develop activities of the academic community in collaboration with stakeholders (society and the business world) to integrate educational activities with the world of work. 
  4. Development and outreach of independent business (entrepreneurship) for the academic community to be able to create jobs. 
  5. Carry out a tracer study for Undiksha alumni. 

TARGET

The strategic targets of UPT PKKM are focused on implementing career development, student entrepreneurship, and tracing alumni (Tracer study) as well as coordinating job search activities for new graduates, developing activities of the academic community in collaboration with stakeholders (society and the business world) to integrate academic activities with the world of work. 

PROGRAMME SCOPE

  1. Preparation of plans, work programs, and budgets for UPT PKKM; 
  2. Inventory and identification of the world of work; 
  3. Improvement of students’ abilities in the field of careers and entrepreneurship; 
  4. Facilitation and cooperation in career development and entrepreneurship; 
  5. Carry out alumni tracing (Tracer study); 
  6. Coordinating, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating student career development activities, student entrepreneurship development, and tracing alumni (Tracer Study); 
  7. Preparation of Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) at UPT PKKM; 
  8. Implementation of administrative affairs of UPT PKKM; and 
  9. Report on UPT PKKM activities to the Chancellor.
